The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Tarkwa-Nsuaem Municipality of the Western Region, Benjamin Kessie, has handed over a 3-unit classroom block for the pupils of Mile 5 community, a suburb of Nsuaem to improve enrollment and quality education in the area.

The Drillbotics Team of the University of Mines and Technology has topped the Virtual Directional Drilling Rig Simulator Design option for 2022/2023 International Drillbotics Competition organised by the Drilling Systems Automation Technical Section (DSATS) under the auspices of the Society of Petroleum Engineers to accelerate the uptake of automation in the Oil and Gas industry.
